Curry was all systems go Wednesday night as he made 11 3-pointers and scored 51 points to lead the Golden State Warriors past the Washington Wizards 134-121 for their eighth straight victory, which came in spite of a monster performance from John Wall.
Wall scored a season-best 41 points in the shadows as Curry shot 13 of 14 for 36 points in the best first half of his career. After scoring just 13 points Sunday at New York, Curry was in a zone, tying Gilbert Arenas and Michael Jordan for the Verizon Center record and reaching 50 for the second time this season.

Anthony Davis scored a franchise-record 59 points and pulled down 20 rebounds as the New Orleans Pelicans beat the Detroit Pistons 111-106 on Sunday.
The previous club record was 50 points by Jamal Mashburn exactly 13 years earlier against the Grizzlies. Davis went 24 of 34 from the floor and made his only two 3-pointers. He added nine free throws in 10 tries.
The star center joined Shaquille O'Neal and Chris Webber as the only NBA players with 50 points and 20 rebounds in a game since 1983.

Curry is first player to make 300 3s in a single season

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) As all the records keep piling up for Stephen Curry, he is far from ready to pick a favorite.
There's still too much yet to accomplish - like that best-ever Bulls' mark of 72 wins, another championship, maybe the MVP again.
Curry scored 41 points and became the first player in NBA history to make 300 3-pointers in a season, and the Golden State Warriors set another record in a season full of them by holding off the Orlando Magic 119-113 Monday night for their 45th straight home victory.
"To have protected our home court 45 straight games in the regular season, it hasn't been done in history, so that's a pretty special accomplishment," Curry said. "That win record is still in reach."
Curry didn't match his 51-point performance against the Magic on Feb. 25 in which he hit 10 of 15 3-pointers, but shot 7 for 13 from long range and also pulled down 13 rebounds. He has 301 3s with 20 games to go.
Golden State surpassed the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls' 44 straight regular-season home victories and improved to 27-0 at Oracle Arena this season.
