You need download as soon as game has added. 20-30 min after torrent added and no one will download from you. So, its real issue with ratio, if u aren't in first 10-20 people groupe.
When i catch lakers or warriors game, i download only for ratio. It doesn't make sense.

for the most of Playoffs it is real to farm uploaded 100 Gb from 5 Gb for one Game. if you just stay on the upload for one full week. Just leave your PC turned on for one week.

Any one who has trouble keeping a ratio of 0.1 dl/up has NO IDEA how to survive, much less thrive, on a private tracker.
The admins are being very charitable in establishing a ratio that is ridiculously FAR BELOW the normal requirement on most sites.
720 has become one the top sports trackers around, if not the best. Be thankful that it exists and that you are able to be a member.
For what sports I watch, it is by far better than any other site.

Мне неудобно оттого, что за всё это время я не задонатил ни рубля. Надеюсь, что обязательно как только, так сразу. Спасибо вам всем, я ваще не представляю, как вы всё это делаете, но вы делаете это уникально.

Если коротко - один вопрос: можно-ли сократить время обновления с 30 мин. до хотя-бы 15ти? На тяжёлых файлах полчаса норм, а на 3-4Гб NHL, которые быстро грузятся, личеров ловить не всегда возможно.

И второй вопрос: в последнее время seeders, от которых грузилось сразу, мне не видны. Т.е., например, релизы от NJDevils и tnikita грузятся только через личеров, а не напрямую. Никаких проблем, просто интересно, я в этом всём ничего не понимаю.

I never intentionally try to seed or upload but I don't delete the games right away. I usually keep them for about a week or two as I'm in no rush nor need to delete them asap. My ratio is actually 2.8 so I've uploaded more than downloaded by almost three time. I think what the admins are trying to accomplish here is to get more people to keep the files for longer periods of time. But I feel like it should have been done differently cos people with bad ratios will never be able to improve it. Maybe reset bad account and give them a month to get it to 0.1.

Sure, the issue arises when you want to download a game that's older, whether it be a few days, a month, or last season. If anyone is holding onto it at all, there will be no peers to upload to after you get it. I think seed points like some other trackers use are the only thing that let people download something from the past.

From what I see, it's not just your overall ratio, it's 10% uploaded of individual files. You can do it quickly if you get it in at the beginning, or literally seed for a week or more on these regular season games. My upload sucks, but I can manage that. I won't download every game like before though, i'll get most from other sites that have more users. I 100% think these guys do a fantastic job and have the best encodes for sports. Cheers

I have no issue with ratio requirements, and .1 is quite reasonable, but I will note that I've found it difficult to improve ratio on 720pier. I usually download games within a day of upload and by then it's too late to gain any traction. It seems like luck of the draw to get a torrent in high demand that hasn't already been overseeded. The only thing keeping my ratio afloat is the occasional game that gives me a ratio of 5-10, because most of the time I don't see a single kb of upload. I remember doing the Superbowl one year specifically to help my ratio, and it gave me something like .05, lol. The question is - is leeching causing such an issue on here? I've never had difficulty finding seeds.

Since I'm new here, id like to offer an idea.. Why not go the private tracker route??
1. Donation = x amount of upload credit.
2. Bonus system that calculates seed time and number of torrents and with that you can buy upload credit if you can't afford to donate.
3. A lot of private trackers are starting to offer IPTV for a certain amount of time if you donate..

Because lets be real here, after a certain amount of time no one downloads anymore and you are stuck not being able to upload.. So best way to get something uploaded is to get the torrent as soon as possible so there sill will be people that will download.

If your has a ratio of less than requested you can't download torrent file.

Кинект,дружище,выскажусь за всех.Не знаю,связано ли это с тем,что ваши торрент-файлы не открываются в битторрент или юторрент,а в кьюбитторрент,но отдача просто ахово мизерная.Приведу пример-скачав какую ти игру НХЛ или НБА с спам я имею колоссальную отдачу в первый день,а также она востребована недели после ,что даже удивляет.Всё это через битторрент.Скачав такую же игру у вас,можно добится какой-то отдачи в первые часы,очень повезёт если ратио дотянет по ней до 20%.После этого полный штиль,всё абсолютно по нулям даже в первый день,не говоря о раздачи постарше.Я свои 18.5 процентов заработал в минувшие годы,а теперь ,читая комментарии,понимаю,что многие юзеры в аховой ситуации.Например,захотел человек скачать после работы-всё,у него не будет никакой отдачи.Связано ли это с кьюбитторрентом ? Вполне возможно.

lol, I've d/led 1 torrent from here. It was Man in the Arena 1-9. That was this morning. My ratio is already over .2 in a little over an hour. Just d/l the current MitA episodes 1-9 and give it a day your ration will be over 1.0, much more than the .1 that you need. Unfortunately, it looks like espn isn't going to release the final episode of MitA until April.

Yeah I've been using this site for years and because I live in a place with SHIT upload rates (it's throttled, all download, almost no upload - dumb!) it's hard to upload. And even then it's easy to break at least 25% ratio. On big games, inside the NBA, all star, you can even get to positive ratio if you leave it on for a day.

I agree over .300 starts getting harder if you don't have a very good connection but 0.1 is really low and very fair.

Just thought I would comment on the ratio's. I have been using this sight for years and never really thought there was a ratio. Until today i just checked my ratio and it is sitting at 65 percent. The only thing I have that others may not have is unlimited bandwidth. Generally all I do it set my upload around 2 meg bytes per second and down load at whatever speed it comes. Yes i do leave it on all day till i get home. Then I watch the game and delete the file. To be honest my upload rate when i get home is usually close to zero. Just did some math. If I were to upload at 100 kB per sec i should hit around 10 percent in about an hour for a 3.6 gig file.

At least there is some mention of the ratio and others will let the torrents seed a bit more I think. I am letting the NHL games from now on seeding up to a week, but I rarely get over 60% in a week. Although the 10% is totally doable also with a limited bandwidth and slower internet.

You have effectively just blocked your site with no way to reach the ratio. The smart thing to do would be to give a date so people could try and get back to the ratio before that date. But if you are downloading games that are not popular, then there is little chance of reaching it. I have no files in my hd due to space, so no way to ever seed them now.

With games that aren't popular (like a lot of NHL games) I reach an average ratio of 13.0 with no problem.

I got tonight's 4 NHL games (so far) in the past hour, I'm at 97.7GB upload and still going at about 30MB/s...



Added 6pm, it's 6:38pm now. I have never uploaded anything, leeching only.

You just proved his point. Only the person with superfast connection, that gets in early.. gets all the upload data lmao. Congrats on winning the lottery of living in a country with the infrastructure to supply you with fibre internet. The rest of us living off bread crumb uploads will just have to leave

I live in one of the worst country in the world in terms of internet speed. You know what I did? I bought a seedbox account for €10/month so I can use that super speed connection for sharing torrents.

well if someone have ratio 150 on some torrents, he/she gives others without a seedbox a small chance that they will also raise the ratio.
Understand, it's great that we can download at such a speed, but either everyone who want to use this tracker will have buy seedbox (do we really want it?), or those who already have them will be more considerate and limit their upload speed, when they reach a certain ratio or when the torrent has enough other seeders...

I think we should try to find a more balanced solution, that's just my two cents.

I don't limit my download speed but I limit my ratio. When I reach a ratio of 15.0 I finish to seed the game. It's a win-win situation. I can stay all month in the limit of my seedbox account and I give others the chance to boost their ratio.

While I agree with you 100%, I would not pay for a seedbox sub just for NBA games or the like. The scene is supposed to be about being free for everyone. Luckily for us here on the pier, a mere 10% upload requirement is about as giving as it gets from the kind people in charge here. I am more than thankful for their hard work here, and I really do suggest everyone at least give a few dollars to these guys for the time they put in. They have the NBA league pass sub without commercials and all that stuff that other people upload. It's $100 USD a year. Let us reimburse them for their hard work. Cheers

* I will state that I can definitely tell that with the ratio restriction, we lost a lot of the heavy hitters with high upload speeds. I used to get my maxed out 240-260mbps (24-26mb/s) speeds, but now I average about 2-10 max here in the start. I guess they did opt out to give others a shot at seeding. I guess that's good for others wanting to get their ratios up for individual files.
