Thank you for clearing that up.
I hope we, the users, get a chance to pump up our ratio. What you see now is a lot of seeders, an nobody downloading.
Which will be the future of 720pier if this rule keeps standing.

As you can tell from my account I download a lot of data. I'll give you and example of how I use your site so this way you might be able to give me a more relevant answer to how to raise my ratio

A - I might download 40GB of files on a given day with each file being between 3.5G and 5GB on average
B - Sometimes I seed the files for a whole day and I'll only see that less than 100MB of those files have been uploaded to others and in a lot of cases the majority of the files show that no data has been uploaded or just a few KBs
C - I have no restrictions set on my end that would cause any limitations
D - My available upload speeds are in the 20MBs range but yet I'm only showing that files are being uploaded at no more than 5kbs (again i'm not restricting this in any way)
E - The downloaded files remain on my computer for no more than a day. I remove that days files from my computer to make room for the next days downloads because I don't have a lot of free space on my computer.

I hope this helps you understand whats happening on my end and you can provide a viable solution that will solve the ratio problem. I am sure that I am not the only one that has this similar scenario

I've read all the post including NJBloodline's, I even attempted to download one of the NHL games he/she has and my results are DISMAL compared to his/hers (See Pic)

I really appreciate your site and all of the joy it has brought me since joining and I do not want to lose that privilege

OK so I'm back with an update...

So its been a few hours and I just wanted to continue seeding the downloads just to show how very little data has been uploaded to others users

What I found very interesting is that if you look at the 2 files highlighted in RED you will notice that there are 2 VASTLY different results for the same exact game. So whats the difference you ask ??? The Miami file completed 3 hours ago is from this site and the Miami file completed 8 minutes ago is from another another site.

If you look at the file highlighted in green, that file is restricted from being downloaded from this site due to the ratio law, however I go again to another site to download the file and as you can see it says I uploaded 1.64GB in about 3 hours

Another thing you will notice is if you look at the Up Speed differences, all of the files from this site are sitting at either 0kb/s or less than 1kb/s while the other sites files are uploading at a combined 860kb/s as of the screenshot, there were times where it reached a combined high of about 1.5MB/s

So something else has to be going on here unaware to most of us including myself

So again i humbly and respectfully ask you what is going on??? Why the differences??? and how do we all fix the problem so more users can be in compliance with the rules you have every right to put in place.

I guess I have to thank you for opening our eyes because without your restriction I probably would have never gone thru this exercise.

Is there anyone else here able to run a similar test and get similar results ???

Just a couple of thoughts.

What about a 14 day or 1:1 ratio (whichever comes first) torrent seeding requirement? That would pretty much eliminate a client to tracker ratio discrepancy which is very common.

Also 14 days seems like enough time for a sports torrent. I don't think many people would download a 2 week old game, unless it's playoffs or something like that.

My files only upload during the first day or even just the first ten hours. The only reason I have a .344 ratio is because I am sometimes lucky enough to be one of the first to download the torrent. It's hard for me to imagine that leeching is a large problem with these matches. Even on a match from 2020, I see 23 seeders and no leechers.

720pier is a COMMUNITY. Private torrent sites are great because most users are good citizens, contributing something to make the community strong.. Kinect, tnikita, eternity, etc - they contribute BIG work, to create these videos, create a cap schedule, run this site.

To survive and grow, our community needs 2 things - SEEDERS and MONEY.

The people writing complaints, I see for example:
download 1.4 tb, upload 0.1 tb
download 4.5 tb, upload 0.3 tb
download 762 gb, upload 72 gb.

What are you contributing to this community? I can see that you are taking very much. Are you giving anything? How are you making us stronger?

Every sport's page has a "donate money for games" link. 720pier has 89,000 members. I wonder how many donations they receive each month.

Kinect, eternity, etc, work very hard, and I am very, very thankful to them. And I am thankful to be a member of this community, and thankful to the people who seed the torrents I want.

You don't have to seed. You don't have to donate. But 720pier is a COMMUNITY, and you WANTED to join us. What are you contributing to make the community strong and continue to survive?

I don't have problems with ratio but agree many people will. 50 Mbit upload I download more popular stuff (NFL, NBA) often fast just few hours sometimes even within one hr after release.

Even on that stuff with my connection if I would download all of it + 12 hrs after release getting to 0.1 could become hard.
Example, last two Warriors games (one of the most popular NBA torrets from last few days) downloaded 6 and 11 hrs after realese seeded since then all the time on 50 Mbit upload, only 0.19 and 0.17, even if I'll leave it for another week doubt either gonna get to 0.2

Cmon it's sports to little people watches older stuff it's really hard to have regular torrent trackers simple ratio rules here.


Some ideas

1. Reseting ratios for people who ask for it or they can just create new account to start from scrach. After long time not worring about ratio getting from hundrets GBs baggage can trully be impossible turning everything around so fast not fully fair.

2. After some x amount of hours every torrent should become freeleech, download doesn't count upload does, to prevent abuse have hit n run rules.

3. If 2. too complicated to set up just regular rule for all torrents x amount of seed time = download doesn't count.

4. Premium I don't give a f#%^ about ratio. You do great job should have no qualm about taking money off of it if $ amount is reasonable for a user and rules for making it without $ reasonable also. But as of now I can understand how for someone with job and life from Europe site may be become close to unusable.

It sucks for people who didnt give a shit about their ratios before - but lets be adults. We get all these matches for fucking free. The cappers are doing an excellent job every fucking day(!!!). You can't demand anything. 0.1 ratio requirement is very low compared to other private trackers.

I don't have a super connection but over time I've been able to keep a plus ratio. If everyone was sub 1.0 in ratio no one would be able to download anything. They require you to share back 10% of what you got. C'mon people.. :-)

Подскажите пожалуйста, вот я скачивал некоторые раздачи (от MLB_addict в частности ) и скачивается всё хорошо, спасибо, но вот раздается только по 800 Мб, максимум 1 Гб. Хотя я скачал свежую раздачу и скачал где-то 3 или 4-м, т.е после меня скачивало куча народу, но у меня так и осталось мои 1000 с небольшим Мб отданного. А вот например бейсбол (от makar75) в прошлом году скачивал допустим 5 Гб и норм потом раздалось 15 Гб и даже больше (я беру 1 день в пример). Вот, почему так? У меня за последние 2 месяца ратио уменьшился значительно, было +40Гб (отдал/скачал). Настройки вроде не менял. Использую uTorrent 3.5.5. Да, и еще иногда выдает мне восклицательный знак, типа порт закрыт.

Это в провайдере дело походу. Ставь пока скачиваешь прием в половину от отдачи. Пока скачивается, будешь больше отдавать, в 1 должен выйти, хотя качать будешь подольше. Но все же еще посмотри настройки юторрента, где про скорость

Спасибо за совет! Но я так понимаю, что сегодня уже бессмысленно качать игру Чикаго, т.к её уже скачали 40 человек и ничего не раздастся, только ратио еще больше угроблю. Я пытался сегодня скачать баскетбол какой-то (Ваша радача), я так не смотрю его, я хотел раздать, поставить приоритет на отдачу, ну в итоге опять - там закачка идет, а отдача - нет. Поэтому я тут уже удалил. Не могу понять в чем проблема пока...

Да качай если хочешь посмотреть, у тебя ратио хороший, а вот скачанное зря удалил, через пару дней все свалят с раздачи, и пирры все твои будут. Ведь потом тоже люди приходят скачать, а раздавать то некому уже будет. Вот в чем смысл. Чем дольше раздаешь, тем больше раздашь. Может через неделю или месяц
