Really hope you guys are able tp sort this soon. I also use the link by a previous poster that throws up a few games a day and just hope its a Yankees game. The other suggestion I have is free tv websites like tvapp and daddy. It means you get to watch live games. For me, because of time difference this only works for sunday afternoon games. They air around 6.30pm my time. Its not a fix but it is a help.

Just FYI I have to say that it is very very very difficult to remain a member on that site listed above. Unlike every other private site I've ever used it is virtually IMPOSSIBLE to keep your ratio in good standing there. And after the initial grace period once you get down to .40 they kick you off.
I find on that site - and it worked this way despite trying two different bittorrent clients - after my initial "grace period" after joining was over, once I moved from a leech to a seeder on an existing torrent, basically NO leeches would connect to me anymore - and if there were any already, they all dropoff. If my client shows there are leechers out there, they will not connect (they connect for about 5 seconds at best then dropoff). It makes no sense whatsoever. And my settings were fine - was not blocking the port I setup for use with bittorrent etc.
Once I became a seeder there on an existing torrent I got nothing uploaded. And it didn't matter how long I stayed on trying to seed. So my ratio went to hell. Without understanding any of this, I believe there is something about their tracker which does this by design(I have no other possible explanation for this behavior). There is just no way to keep a decent ratio (unlike here, where my ratio is above 1.0, and I never lose leeches once I become a seeder on an existing torrent). Maybe you can survive there if you start torrents on your own instead of joining existing ones (?). Or of course if you pay money to be a "VIP" where your ratio does not matter.
So don't be so anxious to join there. Pretty soon you will find it necessary to either give them money or be kicked off. Let's just hope 720pier gets back to what it used to be....

I think the situation over there is not so simple. I almost never get upload on MLB games but on NCAAF torrents I often had no problem getting to a 1.0 ratio if I jumped in fairly early (which was possible monitoring an RSS feed). For Olympic coverage in the past I recall there being quite a few folks on each torrent and that will be starting in a few weeks. But, the number of users is much smaller than here - I seem to recall NCAAF torrents here having 3 or 4 times the number of downloads. This is a much better and more popular tracker so long as the content you want is available.
NOTE: When I first joined over there I found upload hard. BUT, you can earn upload credit by merely seeding. I grabbed 30 or so of the smallest torrents (<600 MB total) and seeded 24/7. It takes a while but you can earn some significant upload if you are able to seed 24/7 - of course not everyone can do that. You don't care about upload, only seeding time. Leave the search box empty and search and then sort from smallest to largest. You'll see 50+ torrents with 300+ seeders with a file size <30MB. Grab and seed before you get into ratio trouble. Also, consider cross-seeding popular torrents to built ratio - the F1 VERUM torrents are publicly available and get plenty of downloads there so would be a good way to build upload. It is definitely not a great tracker but if it is the only place you can get the content you want then there are ways to work the system.

Thanks Canny.
I have a question I sent you in a PM. I don't want to clog up this thread with questions about that other site.

I don't have a seedbox, nor do I intend to sign up & pay for one. I guess you are onto something there though. Maybe that is what is needed to remain a member there.
If so, I find it ridiculous that that is what is required to maintain a good ratio there, unlike every single other bittorrent site I've ever used over the years with good ratios.
In order to stay alive there (without a seedbox?) you have to do ridiculous things like get on & seed 50-100 tiny meaningless torrents there endlessly which serve no purpose other than to get you "bonus" points to increase your ratio artificially, or pay them $$ every month to avoid being kicked off. Without Canny45 telling me the trick about seeding many useless tiny torrents above to get bonus points (for doing nothing actually since no one even wants them) I would be gone already since no matter how long I stay on a torrent, as soon as I become a 100% seeder all my leech peers drop off and virtually no one connects to me thereafter! I don't get it...

Is there any interest in Condensed Games that MLBtv does? It shows only the last pitch of every at bat which makes the game 8-15 minutes long.
