The MLB All-Star Game 2019 will be the 90th edition of the Major League Baseball All-Star Game between the selection teams of the American League (AL) and the National League (NL).
It will take place on July 9, 2019 at Progressive Field in Cleveland.
The decision to designate Cleveland as host city was announced on January 27, 2017 by major league baseball captain Rob Manfred.
It will be the sixth All-Star Game in Cleveland and the first since 1997.
This will make the Indians the team that has hosted most of the All-Star Games so far.
It will also be the first time since 2014 that an American League team will host the event.
This all-star game will also coincide with the 25th anniversary of Progressive Field, making it the second All-Star Game on the field.
Alex Cora of the World Series Champion Boston Red Sox will lead the American League and Dave Roberts of the Los Angeles Dodgers will lead the National League for the second year in a row.
