THANKS a ton for providing a local Philly source for this game. I haven't gotten to see a Flyers game with local announcers in a while and the way they are plugged into the team we get a lot more info about what is going on with our players & the team in general than the network feeds or opposing team broadcasters. Even though we stink and are playing at this point for basically nothing I like hearing more inside stuff. That being said there are some teams that have excellent broadcasters like the Washington Cap announcers - they really know the game inside and out and call things for what they are instead of just being horrible homers like the Islander broadcasters (who are the worst I've ever heard call a game - two thumbs down for Butch Goring!!!!!).
