I've been watching hockey, and the Red Wings in particular, since the 1994 playoffs, and this will be the first time my team doesn't qualify for the post-season. I should be thankful for our collective long-term success, but instead I'm just depressed and angry. Oh well, I've already decided that I'll be rooting for the Oilers to go to the finals from the Western Conference.

So thank you for posting this game. I can witness the ascension of a once proud franchise as I lament the downfall of another.
