I must say that I'm still hoping for Canadian broadcasts of games, even though there are no Canadian teams left. Better is better, I think.

I literally had to run the Seattle/Dallas game 7 ESPN broadcast through ffmpeg to align the sound with the picture. It was off by almost 3 tenths of a second. That's how shitty the sound is on ESPN games. You can barely hear the on-ice sound, and when you can hear it, sometimes it's not synced with the picture.

I'm 5 minutes in, and TNT has two audio uplinks open at once. I'm hearing everything twice in rapid succession. Usually when that happens, someone figures it out, and the problem gets resolved, so I'll reserve judgement for now, but the sound troubles with American broadcasts persist!

[edit] end of 1st period . . . they have only one audio track now, but they seem to have chosen the wrong one. Oh well, that I can fix. Dumb asses.
