possibe to sort by initial post date (not by last comment date)?

It seems there is only one sort option in forums, the ability to sort by the last thread comment date, not by thread creation time. The reason one would want to sort by thread creation time is to simply track what new torrents are posted. Its hard to keep track of whats new and what isn't as every other mechanism for new considers an updated thread to be new (including rss feeds which include comments on threads it seems)

am I missing something and this is possible or is it not?

To go advanced search options and go to "Show results as" and select "posts" as it defaults to "topics".

Guys i would like to ask you to use the 'Rate post positively' icon instead of replying and saying "thank you" , if it is possible.
'Rate post positively' exists for exactly this reason.
